Space Suit walkthrough This game is a textualization of the "think outside the box" puzzle. For that, you can google the solution. Here is the solution to get a participation ribbon. To solve the game classically, you can work as follows: wear suit/read brochure/nw/switch lever/se/se/n/n/n/sw/sw/sw/e/e ...or any rotation/reflection thereof. You can even get a special commendation if you note the room titles. One of the solutions (at random) always spells out s-p-a-c-e-s-u-i-t with the rooms' first letters. (I hope the spacesuit and its powers were clued well enough.) However, the medals suggest a hidden solution or three. There is in fact only one. I'm indebted to my high school math teacher John Benson for showing me a solution way back when that tipped off a way to make this game have a hidden solution. His solution was to have an extra wide sheet of paper, maybe even make the dots bigger, and go from the bottom of the DR dot to the top of the DL. Then zigzag back right, then back left. Obviously, you might even need to tape some papers together. But you could do things with three lines. Unfortunately this didn't translate to a text adventure, so I had to think of something else. You basically need to roll up the paper so that one line can loop around and go through the three rows at once. One way to win with zero turns is: wear suit/get brochure/read it/g/g/g/g/take leaflet/se/switch lever/fold c into d/w/w/w/w/w/w/w/w But wait! What about one turn? It's actually not trivial. wear suit/get brochure/read it/g/g/g/g/take leaflet/s/switch lever/fold c into d/e/w/w/w/w/w/w/w/w You could also go north into a corner, then east, and so forth. There is a lot of symmetry and futzing for alternate solutions, and if you like that sort of thing, this game has them. If you saw that, maybe you can guess about two turns. There're actually many ways to do this, but this is simplest. wear suit/get brochure/read it/g/g/g/g/take leaflet/se/switch lever/fold c into d/w/e/w/w/w/w/w/w/w/w
